Mahamasina Municipal Stadium is located in the capital city of Antananarivo and is the first project of China Construction in the Madagascar market. With an area of about 130,000 ㎡, it is the largest stadium in Madagascar and the venue for the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers. It has a spectator capacity of 40,000 and features supporting facilities such as football training grounds, basketball courts, and commercial facilities. It meets FIFA standards and is the highest-standard stadium in Madagascar. President Rajoelina of Madagascar also attended the ribbon-cutting opening ceremony of the stadium reconstruction and expansion project.
