How do routine maintenance of the kitchen sink?

1. Cautions in routine maintenance:
(i) Keep articles that are prone to rusting away from prolonged contact with the kitchen sink.
(ii) Clean the kitchen sink after each use and wipe it dry with a cloth.
(iii) Try to keep the kitchen sink surface as dry as possible.

 

2. Unexpected behaviors in cleaning:
(i) To remove mineral deposits on the bottom of the kitchen sink, use diluted vinegar. Afterward, rinse with water.
(ii) Avoid using steel wire balls or abrasive cleaning materials to clean the kitchen sink.

 

3. Unexpected behaviors in routine maintenance:
(i) Avoid leaving pickles, other pickled foods, mayonnaise, or mustard in the kitchen sink for extended periods of time.
(ii)Do not leave rubber placemats, wet sponges, or cleaning sheets in the kitchen sink overnight.”

Ensure a minimum of 40~50mm of space.

For rusted areas, use a damp cleaning cloth or cotton cloth (instead of steel wire balls) with a small amount of cleaning powder (such as toothpaste). Gently rub back and forth and then rinse with water.

As an auxiliary accessory, the overflow pipe is used to drain the remaining liquid into the waste pipe. It is connected to the waste pipe.

 

After pouring the foaming agent and water into the kitchen sink, the water will be drained through the waste pipe due to its heavy weight. The air pressure generated during this process will be relieved through the overflow pipe. The foam is light and bursts slowly. Consequently, the foam that bursts more slowly will be pushed out of the overflow port by the air pressure.

 

Currently, JOMOO kitchen sinks and most other kitchen sink brands on the market do not have structures to prevent foam or water backflow. This is not a quality issue. It is recommended to use a small amount of dishwashing liquid when washing dishes.

Each JOMOO kitchen sink is made from one-piece 304 stainless steel, which has a relatively low hardness due to the absence of surface treatment. To maintain its surface, it should not be cleaned with steel wire scrubbers or subjected to collisions with sharp objects. It is recommended to clean the sink using a non-abrasive scouring pad.

 

You may refer to the care instructions on both the product label and the user manual.

After installation, cover the kitchen sink with its polyethylene (PE) bag (or the hole size reference board) to keep it from corrosion by dust or liquids during decoration.

It is normal. The rotatable spout of the faucet in the kitchen has a buckle structure. There’s a gap between it and the mounting hole. When the water pressure is large, water rushes up due to the inertia at the moment of turn-on of the faucet, making the spout move up. The larger the water pressure, the larger the radian of swing will be.

Bathtub

How to maintain a bathtub?

1. In routine cleaning, clean the bathtub with soft cloth (or sponge) and clean water. Then, wipe the stains on its surface gently with soft cloth and toothpaste.
Note: Wiping the scales with steel wire balls or hard brushes may cause scratches.

 

2. Every three months, clean the backwater strainer to prevent blockage from hair or other debris.”

Most JOMOO bathtubs are made of acrylic, while only a few are made of cast iron.

To remove scratches, grind them with 2000-mesh fine abrasive paper and water.

Bathroom Accesorries

How to install the angle valve or the cold tap?

1. Rotate to dismount the plug, turn on the water source, clean the inlet hose, and ensure there is no sand or debris to prevent blockage during use.

 

2. Wrap PTFE tape clockwise around the G1/2 thread on the water inlet of the angle valve. If the angle valve has a decorative cover, mount it onto the angle cover first. Connect the angle valve to the water inlet connector by rotating them (tighten with a spanner). Install the angle valve according to the signs for cold and warm water.

 

3. Turn on the water source and then turn off the angle valve. After 5 minutes, check for leaks in the inlet hose and angle valve.

Figure out the leaking position. If it is due to a common fault of the connector, replace the gasket; if it is due to a common fault of the water outlet, have the water outlet wrapped with another turn of PTFE tape.

1. To clean the filter, remove the outer cover and filter layer. Use a toothbrush to remove hair and dirt. If the filter remains dirty, use neutral detergent. After cleaning, reassemble the filter layer and outer cover.

 

2. Maintain the water seal by providing regular water feed. If the floor drain won’t be used for an extended period, seal its outer cover.

 

3. To prevent blockages, regularly clean the floor drain and avoid disposing of foreign objects or debris into it.

1. Ensure good ventilation by frequently opening the bathroom door and window to promote fresh air circulation and maintain family health.

 

2. Avoid using corrosive detergents. Instead, wipe accessories with a soft cotton cloth and clean water to maintain their glossy appearance.

 

3. Clean the interior thoroughly every 3 months. After cleaning, wipe the accessory surfaces to prevent water stains.

If there are rust spots on the surface of such an accessory, clean surface of the accessory thoroughly with mildew-proof water wax, rinse it and wipe the water on it with soft cotton cloth to make it glossy.

Bathroom Furniture & Mirror

How to maintain the bathroom cabinet?

1. Every week, clean the bathroom cabinet and the bathroom sink with a soft cloth (or sponge) with household dishwashing liquid, clean the faucet with a wet soft cloth, and clean the makeup mirror with alcohol or glass cleaner.
Note: Wiping with steel wire balls or hard brushes may cause scratches.

 

2. If the screw on a slide, hinge, or handle is loose, have some 502 glue drip into the original screw hole and lock the screw after the 502 glue has cured.

Please use JOMOO liquid soap refills.

 

1. The liquid soap dispenser can be affected by the liquid soap used. If the liquid soap of another brand is used, the liquid soap dispenser may fail to work normally due to corrosion of its interior as a result of blockage and leakage.

 

2. If the liquid soap of another brand has a different concentration from JOMOO liquid soap is used, the liquid soap discharge effect will be affected, and the pump will be overloaded. After long-time service, the air intake of the pump may leak, making the liquid soap dispenser abnormal due to interior corrosion and damage.

The color of bathroom cabinets may vary slightly between different production batches.

1. Check if the liquid soap dispenser is a rechargeable model. If so, charge it and try again.


2. If it is rechargeable, ensure the power plug is properly connected.

Check whether the liquid soap dispenser is correctly installed. In its first use, try a few more times.

1. Check whether the lights are correctly connected to the power source.

2. Check whether the hand waving is correct.

a. Hand waving: Move a hand leftward or rightward through the sensing range within 10 cm in front of the mirror to enable or disable the LED light. When waving the hand, keep all the fingers together (to avoid light leakage) and wave left and right at a uniform speed while the palm faces the mirror.

b. Sensor lights on both sides: Put a hand in a position less than 10 cm under the sensing point at the bottom of the light (the operation can be done from either side) to turn on or off the light.

3. Brightness adjustment: Put a palm in the sensing distance for some time.

Urinal

What is the power supply mode of the touchless urinal?

There are two power supply modes to choose from. The standard configuration is the DC power supply mode.

15cm

DN15 (G1/2″ connecting thread)

The sensing distance can be automatically adjusted, with a maximum distance of 75cm.

The response time for detecting the presence of a user is about 3 seconds, while the response time for detecting the absence of a user is about 1 second.

Before use, it is recommended to flush for about 5 seconds. After use, the flush time can be controlled between 5 and 15 seconds (stepless control).

The minimum water pressure (dynamic pressure) required is 0.5kgf/cm², while the maximum water pressure (static pressure) allowed is 12kgf/cm². The optimal water pressure (static pressure) is between 3kgf/cm² and 5kgf/cm².

The maximum water flow rate is about 2.5L per time, under a dynamic pressure of 0.1MPa. A flow regulator is provided.

The product can be used for up to 300,000 times.

Smart Toilets

What's the power supply mode of the touchless toilet bowl?

There are two power supply modes to choose from. The standard configuration is the DC power supply mode.

15cm

Main inlet hose: DN32;


Branch inlet hose: DN25 (G1″ connecting thread)

The sensing distance can be automatically adjusted, with a maximum distance of 75cm.

The response time for detecting the presence of a user is about 10 seconds, while the response time for detecting the absence of a user is about 5 seconds.

Automatic single/dual flush (no bowl pre-wetting if the interval of use is shorter than 4 minutes).

Bowl pre-wetting time: about 2s;


Flush time after use: about 5s (when the sensing time is shorter than 90s) or about 9s (when the sensing time is longer than 90s)

Minimum water pressure (dynamic pressure): 0.5kgf/cm²;


Maximum water pressure (static pressure): 12kgf/cm²;


Optimal water pressure (static pressure): 3kgf/cm²～5kgf/cm²

Maximum: about 6L/time (under a dynamic pressure of 0.1MPa) (A flow regulator is provided.)

The product can be used for up to 300,000 times.

1. We recommend descaling a toilet or squatting pan every two weeks. Here’s the method:

(i) Pour toilet cleaner into the water seal (trap) of the toilet or squatting pan.
(ii) After 15 minutes, clean the toilet or squatting pan using a toilet brush and flush it.
(iii) Use a toilet brush with soft bristles to avoid damaging the glaze (avoid using tools like steel wire balls).

2. When flushing a toilet, avoid pressing both flush buttons simultaneously. If you do, the toilet will execute the ECO flush, resulting in poor flushing performance when dealing with a large amount of feces.

1. If you’re using a toilet in an area with good water quality, clean it daily. Remove scales using dilute hydrochloric acid or an ordinary supermarket cleaner.

2. In regions with poor water quality (e.g., using seawater for flushing), clean the toilet weekly. Use Kangjie 99 Toilet Cleaner and scouring pads for scale removal.

3. If the toilet has hard water deposits or hasn’t been cleaned in a long time, wipe it with fine abrasive paper (with more than 1,000 meshes) using alcohol.

The rough-in of a toilet is the vertical distance between the center point of the waste pipe reserved in the floor and the finished tile surface. Typically, it’s either 305mm or 400mm. Here are the installation ranges:

1. For a 305mm rough-in, the range is 290-390mm.

2. For a 400mm rough-in, the range is greater than 390mm.

Note: If the installation range is less than 290mm, installation will fail.

2. Operating conditions for a tankless intelligent toilet

 

Inlet water pressure: 0.085Mpa (dynamic pressure)-0.75Mpa (static pressure)

 

Inlet water flow: ≥20L/min

 

Method of measurement:

1. Measure with a specialized instrument: Connect pressure gauge to the angle valve and measure.

 

2. Measure with a non-specialized tool: Turn on the angle valve, collect water from the inlet hose for 10s with help of a bucket, turn off the angle valve, pour the collected water into more than 5 empty ordinary 500ml mineral water bottles (total volume: ≥3L).

Average water consumption of toilets: ≤4L (energy efficiency index: 1); ≤5L (energy efficiency index: 2); ≤6.4L (energy efficiency index: 3)

Full-flush water consumption of a dual-flush toilet: ≤5L (energy efficiency index: 1); ≤6L (energy efficiency index: 2); ≤8L (energy efficiency index: 3)

Drainage pipe must be higher than ground level and less than 1cm

Each toilet or faucet delivered undergoes a 100% water test to verify its functionality and leakproofness. Consequently, it may have water or water stains on it, which is normal.

Some people have viscous stool, so it’s recommended to use the bowl pre-wetting function and adjust your sitting posture before use.

1. The tank lids are fired together, but they may experience slight deformation due to varying contraction percentages. This can result in incomplete contact between the lids and the tanks.

 

2. If the front part of the tank does not remain blank when the tank lid’s rear end aligns with the tank and is centered in the left-right direction, the product will not conform to specifications.

 

3. During production, the tank lid can remain stable with just one foot pad, which explains why there’s only one foot pad.

1. The intelligent toilet is an electric appliance and needs to be installed in a dry, well-ventilated bathroom. Direct flushing or spraying with water tends to result in damage to its electronic parts.

2. It is suggested to replace the filter every 4 to 6 months for effective water purification.

Reason: The intelligent toilet filter can filter out large particles such as sand and worm eggs in tap water. However, its filtering effect will decline after about half a year. It should be replaced at regular intervals for a healthy wash and to prevent product failure.

3. It is suggested to descale the intelligent toilet in the following way twice a month: Pour some toilet cleaner into the water seal of the intelligent toilet and flush with the help of a toilet brush 15 minutes later.

Never put foreign objects into the intelligent toilet, otherwise its water circuit may become blocked.

Directly flushing the seat with water tends to cause wetting of the sensor circuit board, resulting in a short circuit of the electrical appliances, and so on. Please avoid striking or stepping on the seat.

Wipe with clean water gently. Do not clean the main body or the tank with any abrasive detergent or any strongly acidic or alkaline detergent, otherwise its surface may be damaged.

Cleaning of the small nozzle

1. Enable the “Clean” function and wait until the spray nozzle has stretched out completely.

2. Wipe with a sponge, etc.

3. After cleaning, press any button on the remote control to disable the “Clean” function.

【Caution】After cleaning, please visually observe to check whether the small nozzle is blocked.

Detaching of the small nozzle

1. Enable the “Clean” function and wait until the spray nozzle has stretched out completely.

2. Put a slotted screwdriver into the small hole on the back of the small nozzle and apply outward force.

3. After cleaning, mount the small nozzle again.

Cleaning of Water Inlet Strainer

Temperature/40°C/45°C/50°C (The drying warm air temperature is lower in winter due to the low ambient temperature.)

Speed of drying warm air: >4m/s

I. 6 options: Room temperature/33°C/35°C/37°C/39°C/41°C

 

II. 4 options: Room temperature/low temperature/medium temperature/high temperature

Two modes in all:

 

I. Room temperature/35°C/37°C/39°C

 

II. Room temperature/35°C/36°C/37°C/38°C/39°C

It is 75 dB or so. A tankless toilet flushes directly without the help of a tank, so its flush noise is louder than that of an ordinary toilet.

For a family with four members, the intelligent toilet consumes approximately 1kW·h every two days under normal use.

Before installing the intelligent toilet, do a flow test and make sure the flow meets the requirement.

1. Pressure of the inlet water (dynamic pressure): 0.15-0.75MPa (1.5kg-7.5kg)

2. Flow of the inlet water (outlet water flow of the original angle valve in the customer’s house): ≥15L/min

3. If the inlet water pressure is larger than 0.2MPA, install a flow regulator in the ball valve to avoid splash in bowl pre-wetting.

Method 1: Measure with a specialized instrument (pressure gauge).

Operating method: Connect the pressure gauge to the angle valve and measure.

Criterion: Pressure of the inlet water (dynamic pressure): 0.15-0.75MPa (1.5kg ~ 7.5kg)

Method 2: Measure with a non-specialized tool.

Operating method: Turn on the angle valve (the original angle valve in the customer’s house), collect water from the inlet hose for 10s with the help of a bucket, turn off the angle valve, pour the collected water into more than 5 empty ordinary 500ml mineral water bottles.

Criterion: If the collected water is more than 2.5L, the flush effect will be good.

Note: For a toilet with requirements for the water pressure and the water flow, measure before installation and make sure the inlet water flow is stable.

Installing a filter can effectively filter out impurities such as sediment, rust, algae and insect eggs.

Descaling filter with a filter core life of 12 months

PP filter cotton 4-6 months

Function: The foaming agent can prevent splashing, odor, and bonding, and sterilize.

Specification: 480ml/bottle for use of more than 300 times (about 1.6ml each time). (The foaming agent can cover the water after being mixed with water and air.)

Enable or disable auto flush through the button “Press and hold it for auto flush” on the remote control.

Definition of auto flush: The product flushes automatically after a user leaves the sitting point or sits on it for more than 6s.

Enable or disable auto lid opening through the button “Press and hold it for auto lid opening” on the remote control.

Definition of auto lid opening: When a person gets close to the intelligent toilet, the lid will open automatically; 1 to 2 minutes after the person leaves the seat, the lid will close automatically.

Definition: After someone sits on the toilet, the bowl will be moistened once. Most products cannot turn this function on or off.

Faucet

What is the sensing distance of the touchless faucet?

The sensing distance can be adjusted automatically (minimum: 0～13cm; maximum: 0～26cm).

Shower

Why does the faucet or the shower head have water leakage?

Check whether water leakage lasts for a couple of seconds after the faucet or the shower head has been turned off. If it does, it is due to the residual water in the faucet or shower head, which is normal.

1. Make sure the inlet hoses are correctly connected: warm water hose on the left side while cold water hose on the right side (viewed when you face the inlet hoses), which is the precondition of correct installation.

 

2. It is suggested to use an electric tank-contained water heater, a gas water heater or an air power water heater.

 

3. Temperature requirement for the water heater (water temperature check): If the outlet water temperature of the product is different from the set value, an adjustment must be done. It is necessary to make the inlet water temperature 55℃ to 85℃, and the inlet cold temperature 4℃ to 29℃. It is suggested to make outlet water temperature of the water heater 55℃ to 65℃.

 

4. The operating water pressure should be 0.1MPa to 0.5MPa (recommended value: 0.2MPa to 0.5MPa), and the pressure difference between cold water and warm water should be 0.2MPa (or 50%) at most. Otherwise, a flow regulator (prepared by the customer) should be installed at the inlet hose with a higher water pressure.

 

5. Installation spacing: The inlet hose connecting thread is G1/2; the cold water inlet and the warm water inlet should have a spacing of 150±10mm.

1. The cartridge pressing cap is loose (this is the main reason for the handle descending in half a year). Lock it again.

2. The handle is too heavy or the cartridge is too light. The corresponding cartridge is a 35mm flat-base cartridge. Please replace the existing cartridge with a heavy cartridge (code: K362710-1). If the problem still exists after the replacement, please apply for identification of refund or exchange.

1. Check whether the warm water hose is on the left side while the cold water hose is on the right side.

2. Check and make sure there is cold water in the cold water hose and warm water in the warm water hose.

3. Test and make sure the pressure difference between cold water and warm water is at most 50%.

Clean or replace the thermostatic cartridge.

1. Adjust the thermostatic cartridge.


2. Increase the warm water temperature to 55℃ to 65℃.

Clean or replace the check valve.

1. During periods of inactivity or when the faucet will not be used for an extended period of time (such as during a business trip or vacation), please remember to turn off the main valve for the water inlet in the house.

2. Clean the product every six months using a damp, soft cloth. If there are stubborn water stains, you can use toothpaste or a universal cleaner (the latter can be purchased from an agent or an e-commerce platform). Avoid using steel wire balls or hard brushes as they may cause scratches on the product.

3. If the spray holes of the product become blocked with limescale, you can rub them with your hand directly or, if there is a significant amount of limescale, soak them in white vinegar for 5 minutes.

Applicable water pressure: 0.1MPa~0.75MPa

Recommended water pressure: 0.2MPa~0.5MPa

1. Check whether the water pressure in the customer’s house is normal. If it is smaller than expected, remove the flow regulator.

2. It is because there was water outage recently or the hand shower has been used for a long time but not cleaned. Dismount the hand shower and clean it.
